“What a fantastic place!” The Guide du Routard is right. La Vallée is a beautiful house on the edge of a little creek in Dinard. Backing onto a rocky spur where grandiose 1900’s villas stand proud, the hotel is a jewel owned by Laetitia who looks after her guests with a smile.
The rooms are perfect; recently renovated and prettily decorated. From your balcony, drink in the quite British charm of Dinard. It has a sophisticated, elegant and sometimes exotic allure, like the Clair de Lune walk that starts at the foot of the hotel.
Gwendal, Laetitia’s husband, presides over the kitchen. His cuisine uses local produce, from the land or the sea. Everything is cooked perfectly and tastes delicious. The choice of wines is excellent. On good days, lunch in the sun on the terrace will make you want to come back and stay in Dinard, an ideal starting point for exploring the beautiful Emerald coast. From the Mont Saint-Michel to Cap Frehel, via Cancale and Saint-Malo.
